Hey, let’s start it out with a big fight. What’s your opinion on “all right” vs. “alright”? For years I was firmly in the Nathan Singer “alright is never all right” camp but recently I’ve started softening my view. Do you see a difference in the two or is this just a case of English majors trying to find something to seem useful?
I really have no opinion one way or the other…though I guess a case could be made that the same logic that leads to “alright” will lead to “alot.” I see them differently, though, as “a” is an article. WF
