Spam

What I don’t get is why this blog, with only one semi-regular commenter (thanks, Mark!), gets spam comments. There’s virtually no audience; it just seems like a waste of time.

Man, now I feel bad for not commenting on the last one. (Out of my district or I would have been more on it.)

I’d bet spambots just seek out life through updates or hits. If some idiot clicked on one in your comment sections, they’ll come running

I installed a security widget that forces everyone to answer a math problem before they post. Free through WordPress. Voila… no more spam (but those were the only comments I was getting, so now I sometimes forget that I have a blog).
