Whatcha Reading?

By Wes F. in Morris on October 12, 2011October 12, 2011

I’m on this Milan Kundera kick. I just finished The Unbearable Lightness of Being and am now working through a short story collection, Laughable Loves.

At the office, I have Star Trek and Philosophy for lunch reading and Harald Krebs’ Fantasy Pieces: Metrical Dissonance in the Music of Robert Schumann and Peter Goodwin’s Morton Gould: American Salute for research material.

How’s about you?

Whatcha Reading?

By Wes F. in Morris on September 28, 2011September 28, 2011

Just started Milan Kundera’s The Unbearable Lightness of Being. If it’s anything like his other work that I’ve read (Farewell Waltz), I expect it to feature lots of sex against the backdrop of a vaguely totalitarian but mostly incompetent Eastern European government. But oh, what beautiful language and reverberant truths!
